Re: Can someone tell me..

sry not kundan.. got my terminology wrong :clown:

Re: Can someone tell me..

Is it a Pehshwaaz?

Re: Can someone tell me..

Yeah, is this a pishwaaz? Sara, ask your dad what he think he got for you :D Or just call the cousin who helped with the shopping.

Re: Can someone tell me..

oh yeah they said it was pishwaz :clown:

Re: Can someone tell me..

so now the problem solved. happy.....

Re: Can someone tell me..

Yes, very :LB:

Re: Can someone tell me..

so when will be a big day?

Re: Can someone tell me..

It's very pretty. Speaking from experience, I think it's good to have nice variety in your jahez. Having different styles from all over South Asia, and in varying degrees of fanciness, is great way to go. Makes dressing up even more fun after the wedding.

This is nice :D

Re: Can someone tell me..

Ok my new nakhra: i just saw a pic of my cousin on facebook..wearing the xact same dress (1 year ago). :naraz:

Re: Can someone tell me..

Everyday's a big day.

Re: Can someone tell me..

i mean your wedding day...how many things are still unsolved mystery from your jehaz?????/ :D

Re: Can someone tell me..

^11 days, 1 hours, and 6.5 minutes? :halo:

Re: Can someone tell me..

Looks like a pathan/afghan sort of dress. no idea what they call it.

Re: Can someone tell me..

Well the rest aren’t really worth posting :mocking:

Re: Can someone tell me..

Its not a paishwaaz.

Paishwaaz is a frock but with a seperate bodice that is tightly fitted at the frock with a traingle border.

This is a traditional Pakistani dress from either North or Balochistaan.
i'd say more balochistan cause they are more into gotas and zaris where as north are more into jewellery on their dresses.

Re: Can someone tell me..

That is a separate apron-thinggy

Re: Can someone tell me..

Still not a paishwaaz. More of a tribal dress.
Or an imitationof one.

Re: Can someone tell me..

dont know what you call it, but my bhabhi wore something similar to this on her mehndi, but with a churridar pajama....when i first saw it, i thought it was weird....but when she wore it, it looked really nice..
