Have you heard of a kabuli dress? Well this one seems different but is similar. The dress normally comes right down to the feet...

it's neither a frock nor an anrakha ..
it's a balouchi dress .. traditional it is fitted at the top and loose at the bottom .. it's a simple shirt embriodered over in a regulr pattern

thats what i thought also, but i think balouchi dresses usually have bits of mirror embroided on them. nice dress though thanks for sharing...

Lusi, I’ve seen this stuff elsewhre (in pakistan) nai nai dulhans wear that (to outings n stuff)..they call it “frock”.. and this is not a churidar, its a regular shalwar.

CW, this has beads and kungru (those things tha tmake noise), dabka, and kundan kaam. I’ve seen pictures of balochi/sindhi dresses and I’m pretty sure this is not it.

it looks more like a blochi style dress cuz i wore something similar to that.

i think the baluchi stlye has more yarn embroidery with mirrors..not beads/dabka etc. Zainab, my dad brought it from Pakistan.

actually this is sort off balochi but it is more in style these days.Because kundan ka kaam nd shocking pink,,orange,red ,shades of red are more in these days.SO don't worry its tylish and up to date dress:)

i noticed one more thing that this combination is very famous now a days in pakistan.
