Can someone please substantiate/confirm

Re: Can someone please substantiate/confirm

^ I agree … The point I was trying to make earlier is that a vision does not necessarily represent physical literal qualities. But on the flip side it was being iterated by RasoolAllah (SAW) which should give it more weight over observations from others. Regarding the ground … Also yes … And I did think about him (SAW) having a special radiant shadow that otherwise in bright light would merge and nothing would be seen, but ambient or dark conditions light would radiate instead. This idea of light coming from people is not new either … It was the miracle of Sayyiduna Musa (AS) whose hand became like a light, Sayyidah Maryam (AS) has been noted in the previous scriptures to have become radiant while expecting Sayyiduna Isa (AS) and also the transfiguration of Isa (AS) speaks about that too.

Re: Can someone please substantiate/confirm

The context is too different to be applicable. The reality of the dwellers of hellfire is not Radiance, so the vision encompasses this possibility
[A/Imran 3:106] On the Day (of Resurrection) when some faces will be shining and some faces black; so, (to) those whose faces are blackened, “What! You disbelieved after you had accepted faith! Therefore now taste the punishment, the result of your disbelief.”** **[A/Imran 3:107] And those whose faces will be shining, are in the mercy of Allah; they will abide in it forever.

That is my reasoning why the narration is not applicable, but obviously you may have more insight

Yes, Sun light is obedient so when it touches an object its path stops there, but if the object has as its own light then there is no shadow

Its highly unlikely that the reality of The Prophet’s SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam person would have a normal shadow even if they did have a shadow because Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala does not allow ordinary with The Messenger of Allah Muhammad SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam, The Best Man, and The Best Creation

and I think it would be impermissible for us to refer to RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam as ordinary anyway in any shape or form.

The Jism Mubarak of RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam is miraculous, for example The Hair is cure [Medicinal]

(17) Narrated IsraiI: Uthman bin 'Abdullah bin Mauhab said, “My people sent me with a bowl of water to Um Salama.” Isra’il approximated three fingers ('indicating the small size of the container in which there was some hair of the Prophet. 'Uthman added, “If any person suffered from evil eye or some other disease, he would send a vessel (containing water) to Um Salama. I looked into the container (that held the hair of the Prophet) and saw a few red hairs in it,” (Bukhari)

The reason for this is the miraculous Mercy that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has put into the person of RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam

Also something like sleep, we sleep and Hazoor Pak slept, but there is a difference:
**…(Sufyan said to 'Amr that some people said, “The eyes of Allah’s Apostle sleep but his heart does not sleep.” 'Amr replied, "I heard 'Ubaid bin 'Umar saying that the dreams of Prophets were Divine Inspiration,…[Bukhari]

…Aisha further said, “I said, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! Do yousleep before offering the Witr prayer?’ He replied, 'O ‘Aisha! My eyes sleep but my heart remains awake’!” [Bukhari]**

and the same is true for eating
…"The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade continuous fasting. They said, 'You fast continuously’He said, ‘Which of you is like me? When I sleep my Lord gives me food and drink.’ "…[Bukhari]

and the examples are many, with all the list of op being rattled off

and the one that has not as yet:
The Believer sees with the Light of Allah [many references]

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “You see me facing the Qibla; but, by Allah, nothing is hidden from me regarding your bowing and submissiveness and I see you from behind my back.” [Bukhari]
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Once the Iqama was pronounced and Allah’s Apostle faced us and said, "Straighten your rows and stand closer together, for I see you from behind my back.’ [Bukhari]

All proving that the Jism Mubarak of Our Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam has been made specially.

Their Imam is The Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam, but Light being a part of every Prophet is what I believe, and radiance upon the followers is possible eg such and such person has Noor on his face - the Prophets come with Light, then how about Sirajan Munira?
