In my book, a few weeks = 2-3 weeks. Very different from 2 MONTHS. I see nothing wrong with chatting for a few weeks…but in my opinion, 2 months is just way too long to exchange numbers/talk about meeting in person (assuming the 2 people are serious about marriage and are clicking).

I 100% agree with you that you don’t know who’s on the other side on the internet. Which is another reason why I don’t understand why you’d want to waste 2 MONTHS. All that time/energy on a someone who could turn out to be a 50-year-old as you put it. I would think this is the same reason why you’d want to exchange numbers and move it forward so that while you’re continuing getting to know one another…your family can do their part and check out the guy’s background/family to make sure everything he’s telling you is true.

I’m not sure how long you want to search for a rishta…but since you insist on chatting with 1 guy at at time…spending 2 months or more on 1 single guy…you do the math. This could be a LONG road for you.
