Like i said earlier, I didn't went in details. It could be or could b not. Allah SWT! knw better. They came for Umrah not for Haj. I guess they came alongwith tours as here in Bahrain most of tour agencies offers 'Ziyarat Services of holy places' for Iraq n KSA. Once you r inside of Haram Boundry. No1 will gonna check stamped Visa on ya passport.
They will check at the entrance/exit of any ports.
LK my friend went from the UAE in this type of group and had a Saudi guy stamp their visas as a "mehrum". they performed Haj together with the womens group....ur rite only Allah swt knows best but personally speaking I would deffo consider this as a legitimate way of performing Haj if youre single.. rather than have holidays abroad, vohi paise lega ge kuch nakkee karein if youre that way inclined alhamdolilah

On visa sticker of Saudi Embassy it is written:
Date, Visa No. Issuing Authority, **Validity, ***Name, Duration of land permit in KSA, Accompaniyed by, Sponsored by, License No., Visa Type & Visa Fee.*
'Sponsor' could be any 'Umrah & Hajj Tour Agency' and License No. are unique numbers which given by Saudi Authority to those Agencies who are in their authorized list. Visa type could be Visit, Business, Work Permit, Land Permit, Umrah or Hajj. Umrah & Hajj visa issued Gratis.
Visas purpose is stamped as 'Visit' and in documents (visa application form) if it mentioned as 'visit to Makkah & Madina', then visitor can perform Umrah beside his/her visit, but can't perform hajj. In visit visa u can travel into KSA by any means of transport i.e. your personal car, by bus, by Air etc. But for 'Umrah or Hajj Purpose' it is necessary to travel with anyone of approved tour agency.

^LK jazakallah khairun for your valuable info - I really appreciate it…I also know that the Haj group has to be the one that is approved by the Saudi Gov- I guess its wasta at its best …

Yes. The Hajj group are also approved by the Saudi Government and every years the infom all groups in all over the worlds (or instruct their respeted Mission aboroad) to accept this much applications for Hajj.
You can say wasta or you can say its a rizaq of that person which brought him/her in the holy land of Makkah and Allah SWT! know best with is hidden & visible in the heart of that person :)
