^ even Pathan familes does that too i.e. families eating in one big platter. I am not aware of other cultures like sindhi, balochi etc.

we went to one ethopian resturant once and we were 3 people and they served us in one huge platter with a thin naan as big as the platter being the base and little servings of many food items around the platter on that naan.
