Does it ever happens to you when someone on the phone wants to talk to the homeowner and tells you to hand the phone over to an adult when actually you’re the homeowner. It happened to me thrice in a row in last few months.

Lucky you! I’ve had people coming to the doorstep and mistaking me as the homeowner 
“Sorry my parents aren’t home”… But you look over 18?! (when I was like 16 or something!)
They all should’ve gone to specsavers!

just yesterday my hubby's personal trainer called and asked me twice if I'm Mr. A's daughter. ullu ka patha

It has happened to my wife a couple of times.
i know a woman who's like in her 30's and her voice is literally like a 5 year old, on top she's petite and wears niqab so people think she's a child. it's kinda hilarious.

dad ne manne se inkaar ker diya ke unke dost ne aise kaha hoga aur ammi bara fakhar mehsoos ker rahi thi. lol

Eejits don’t even know how to talk to a laday! If they had said “Hello there little 10 year old kid, can we talk to your parents?”, perhaps then I would’ve welcomed them!

there is this neighbor lady.....whenever she calls..i usually pick the phone....
one day my dad picked the phone..and she says "beta apni ammi se baat karwao".......dad was just laughing out loud...

I once called a new friend and told him that could I talk to her husband. He sounded feminine on phone. :o

Lol at mirch and nomi. On my last trip to Pakistan, my young sister in law's friend rang and i answered. she said "Khala Ji theek ho?" i was confused for a sec. Told my mother in law (also my phopo)and she found it funny, as did little sis.

Reminds me of my friend back in school. His name was Mohammad J, but everyone called him J when that was in fact his dad's name. A teacher once called up his home and she said 'Can I speak to J?'. His mum had picked up the phone and was taken aback at some random lady on first name terms with her husband.
