i dont think there is any muslim scholar (specialized in Islamic studies) who thinks that having a tattoo is legal....
they r forbidden in all schools of Islamic thought....

Wrong. Ayatollah Sistani allows tattoos.

Ok so lets see if a man gets a tattoo with "La Ilaha Ill....." First Kalima. Why would that be illegal. You know its not as if the guy asked the blind cleric for money.

In al-Saheehayn it is narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “May Allaah curse the women who do tattoos and those for whom tattoos are done, those who pluck their eyebrows and those who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and alter the creation of Allaah.” (al-Bukhaari, al-Libaas, 5587; Muslim, al-Libaas, 5538).
and why would you believe and follow this statement of the Prophet? because of the following Ayaahs of the Quran.

This is what I dont understand, now why the frig would god worry about painted hands or painted toenails, or a woman that plucks her eyebrows. God should give it a rest. Have a beer on me.

Chalo as long as you understand why God would like women to be ugly as hairy animals. Good for you. I like mine clean, petite and beautiful with painted toe nails and thin eye lashes, if they have a glow in the dark tattoo edited even better. Who needs the instruction manual at night after a few beeers.
So back to the tatoo. I say get one.

And when nature calls ofcourse you would go to the bathroom/washroom not your bedroom or so thus it will not be good to have “La Ilaha” on your body when answering nature call.

Im not sure whether to get one or not but really would like one.. Think I will leave it up to my significant other to help me decide.. Still, Islamically speaking, its only bad if it permanant.. But suppose I promise to have it surgically removed eventually, would that be ok then?
