Re: Can any one answer my question

Re: Can any one answer my question

Everyone is entitled to there opinion. if your religion doesn't agree with it, then you shouldn't be here.

Re: Can any one answer my question

You can't say the sun exist, and expect it to have no rays.

Re: Can any one answer my question

There is really no need to single anyone out. Should you have issues with any individual in particular, please take it up via PM or through other means.

Re: Can any one answer my question

How can one who denies the Hadith be considered a muslim? This is unfathomable.

Re: Can any one answer my question

People have reasons to deny hadiths, or atleast in their minds they do, I am not sure how they plan on following the sunnah if they dont believe in hadiths. Saying idiotic words about it just shows the kind of person they are and secondly its upto Allah how he judges them. I do hope that they ask for forgiveness.

Re: Can any one answer my question

^^ What reason can a muslim have for denying hadith? Without hadith muslims would not know how to pray, for example.

Re: Can any one answer my question

ambiguous question
Anyone who DENIES hadith altogether - cant be a muslim.

I cant remember any such incident where a punishment was given for this. Maybe my more knowledgable and enlightened brother and sisters on this forum would provide an answer or a reference.

Anyone who doesnt AGREE with a certain hadith and has his / her own opinion about the hadith- is someone who has strayed from the path. They need to be shown the right way - Gently and in a logical way, as befits a muslim.

The punishment part, for the extreme cases, I am not sure about. Maybe it would be similar to the punishment for saying rude things or loose remarks about the Prophet (PBUH). Allah (swt) knows best.

Re: Can any one answer my question

There are few categories of hadiths, which are developed through a scientific way so the authency could easily be determined.

  1. Authentic aka. Sahi
  2. Agreed upon
  3. Za'eef - weak

Any hadiths that contradicts with Quran, or the nature in general is considered to be a weak hadiths. Alhumdolillah, for our generation (we unfortunately take it for granted), the science of hadiths has already been developed and the sources such as Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizi, aur Dawood are all given. If you have doubts, you can always search for the sources, and find the answer.

As for the person who denies hadiths is denying the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW). During the very last Khutbah, He (SAW) said that he is leaving 3 things behind for us "Quran, Sunnah and the prayer". Therefore, hadith is an essential part of Islam.

Re: Can any one answer my question

Hadeeths cannot be denied. But then to deal with such a person is in God's hands because everyone will be judged by Allah, not the rest of us!

Re: Can any one answer my question

Sunnah is explained in Surah Ahzab verse 21.

Re: Can any one answer my question

I dont believe in hadeeth ,but never said anything bad about it either......
but does that make me a non muslim.........if it does....wats the source.....i hope its not another hadeeth.

Re: Can any one answer my question

Despite the fact that many hadith are acknowledged to be weak, and despite the fact that we know the COMPILATION of hadith was done by man, we still expect that the compilers were perfect people who could have had no personal bias whatsoever. Plenty evidence exists of hadith being taken up by people who were clearly labelled out to be liars (ex. Aisha (R) clearly correcting Abu Huraira numerous times on "hadith" he was misreporting).

There is a difference between sunnah and hadith. A hadith is a WRITTEN/ORAL REPORT of sunnah. No one denies that one must look at islamic history and the Prophet's life to get a complete view of Islam. But does that mean that any literature written or compiled by man on the topic is immediately correct?

Re: Can any one answer my question

The Quran calls out in a dozen places to Obey Allah and the Prophet.

Allah and the Prophet are mentioned seperately so that people wouldn't confuse the Prophet's words as Quranic Ayaahs.

Obeying Allah means obeying what's there in the Quran, and obeying the Prophet means obeying whats there in the Hadith.

So anyone who doesn't believe in the hadith, rejects those Ayaahs of the Quran that clearly command one to obey the Prophet (the hadith) and hence that takes him into disbelief.

Re: Can any one answer my question

I got a question .....where did our prophet gathered all this information......like watever he told us about islam.......
An ignorant person like me would guess ... Quran.
i wanna know wat u do have to say about it?

Re: Can any one answer my question
