Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman's lifestyle and thoughts ?!
@ topic. Anyways the topic has be dragged quite far away from the original concept of the thread. i.e. to follow the principles of Hazrat Fatimah (r.a). I wish few people could only acknowledge it instead of going into ifs and buts, running here and there.
If I were a molvi I wouldn't even talk about Hazrat Fatima(ra)'s last ghusal out of sharam o haya.
The way maulana sahib cussed at women in a gay sort of way " saron se duppattay uter gaye" and "dilon pe parday par gaye" is not the way Prophet(SAW) and Suhaba taught. Why these molvis talk about women in a derogatory way?
I'm all for giving other nasiha on hijab and other things but without any taunts and sarcastic tone because you don't know other women's circumstances.
Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman's lifestyle and thoughts ?!
Imam Ghazali once mentioned that he never had any problem in debates with the greatest Islamic scholars of his time. But he always got speechless & faced difficulties to debate in front of those who tried to debate with him while it was clear from their reasoning that they don't have any idea about the Islamic rulings about the topic under discussion.
That is exactly the point of avoiding debate with you :D :) :D
Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman's lifestyle and thoughts ?!
I apologize if anyone felt hurt by my personal comments and reasonings. I have very limited understanding of Islam and have yet to learn how to carry out a debate in a respectful way. May Allah (swt) forgive my mistakes and grant me wisdom to be able to convey my perspective without hurting anyone.
Mods please lock this thread if you feel it is appropriate to do so at this stage.
Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman's lifestyle and thoughts ?!
Like I said before those who are against any kind of relationships between men and women are those who find it hard to keep those kinds of relationships clean. But those of us who are capable, shouldnt be attacked.
No one is attacking you, it pisses me off when people do things and then say "but it's allowed in Islam" I'm simply saying don't go on making your own rules for Islam like "Where in Islam does it say you can befriend the opposite gender", just say "i have friends who are males and thats my choice" the end. No need to drag Islam with it to justify yourself because clearly Islam doesn't allow it. The End!

Likewise. I am not at all going against anything you said. Fatima (R.A) should be our role model and all we can say is "but's and if's" and that is our lack of imaan. I am sure your intention wasn't to start this debate but to spread awareness...good for you!

You seemed to have missed the entire point. Islam forbids romantic and physical relationships with the opposite gender unless you are married. Its a man made rule that says just befriending the opposite gender is sinning. Likewise, Islam forbids eating pork, but Muslims have gone further and made the pig into public enemy number one. Islam says nothing about hating that animal or keeping away from it. But many Muslims seem to want nothing to do with that animal all in the name of Islam.
If your interpretation of Islam thinks its a sin to befriend someone of the opposite gender thats fine, but dont tell me I am going against Islam by having a different view.
Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman's lifestyle and thoughts ?!
^ Whats kanzul amal ?
Let me clarify what we are discussing here. Are we discussing interaction with opposite gender in perspective of just friends....etc. or something else ? I am not against women doing jobs or going out.
oh. so that's what it's all about. what you think and find appropriate. and like many others, you mask it under the name of religion.
Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman's lifestyle and thoughts ?!
Maybe you are right. I myself don't know what my intentions are. It would be disclosed to me one day. Just pray that I be forgiven for my mistakes and be guided towards the right path.
Re: Can any Muslim dare to think against this woman’s lifestyle and thoughts ?!
Alhamdulillah, after reading some of the other replies, such replies are even more encouraging. JazakAllah khair for sharing your views.
It is good to see people like you sharing their feelings about the thoughts of Hazrat Fatima (r.a), the actual topic of this thread, rather than focusing on the O.P’s thoughts.
