You explained again the lineage in terms of allowing her RA to not marry the sahabi RA. I will repeat, if she had not protested, she would have been married to the sahabi RA. Allowing her not not marry the sahabi and marrying himself (the prophet SAW) still does not mean the lineage was the reason.
Herself RA and the prophet SAW were from different lineage.
And again: Syed and non-syed as not an issue there and does not apply to the example.
I do not think ANY argument will or can bring lineage as the reason for the prophet SAW to marry her RA and her not accepting the sahabi RA taken as ISlam condones the lineage as a valid reason to marry or not marry someone.
You touched very good point when you talked about the slavery.
Fortunately the slavery in the sense it was present centuries ago is abolished.‘in the sense it as present’ )
However, this silly tradition of lineage still lingers on throughout the nations and religions around the world.

I will still say: Islam does not in any way condone lineage to be considered a factor when one person decides to marry other.
