Invite her along to go out out with some work place acquitances to lunch/ coffee or a movie, and when you guys are alone tell her! but dont say 'I want to start a family!', I dont know... mmm... something a little less obvious so it doesnt scare her off
of course the other way is to get to chat to her throught msn, facebook and stuff
