So you believe in stoning a women? Or anyone?

Even though Jesus (who you also believe in? as one from God?)

Forgave Mary Magdalene, and asked those people ready to stone her to dealth...

"May those without sin to cast the first stone?"
[/QUOTE]
I do believe in stoning... what is the matter about woman?? stoning is for the one who deserves it... what is wrong with that? IT is a punishment.. what's the problem with punishment?

Yes I understand I think,

but is Jihad? a struggle to enforce? or a struggle to obey?

A struggle to entreat ones own self to obey? Or forcing others to obey?

Gadha?

Are you so without sin that you can cast the first stone?

If you say yes..then you are exceptional human. And the first one I have ever met.

u are mistaken:) if u are refering it to Bible, know that ALLAH has said in Quran that there was light and guidance in Injeel (the new testament) and Torah (the old) but they were changed by the course of time .. so the authenticity is the matter! THUS, Quran is the ultimate and final guide for us...

I will go for one quran rather to go for 4 out of 104 bibles:)

think of all the meanings the word crusade can take, and what is is supposed to mean. Jihad is the same.

Thanks everyone.

Thanks Faisal :)

:confused::confused::confused:

Call it and get called it-its a great word to get someone pissed off. :D

People who call other people Kafir are themselves Kafir...:)

I don't mind being called Kafir. (If you wanna call me that cause its easier...fine :) ) Hopefully its not an insult.

In my thinking its meaning is one that has not yet accepted Islam.

Other Statement...
But...the crusades began and ended about the time of the Dark Ages..didn't they? I believe so. And someone here mentioned that Islam brought people out of the dark ages.

So here we all are... living in the Technical Age. (as I call it)

Hopefully of brighter minds...and enlightend souls.

here you go sister:)!

infact that exactly what it is used for... for the fact that when as according to Islam It is the only guided and accepted religion in the eyes of ALLAH for all and that it corrected the Christianity and Judaism by saying that it is the same religion that Allah revealed to Children of Israel, one rejects it and burry this fact in the heart, the person is considered kaafir... It is not a bad word to insult and the translation "Infedile" (Sp?) is absoutely out of conext and WRONG!

Q?

I accept that Islam is a decent religion. Has decent morals and decent people.

What if one accepts the fact that Islam is a true religion?

But still thinks that other religions are a valid expression of respect and love for God?

<~~~~~ mostly really really Kafir :)

Whatever your interpretation of the word....you say it in South Africa to ANY "black" person and you will definitely go to jail. In South Africa it is the worst insult to any "black" person (no matter what their religion). It is twenty times worse than saying a "black" person in USA is a "nigger".

to certain extent..it is okay to accept the teaching of Jesus, Moses and Abraham or modern moral & alues.

I agree with Faisal - Kaafir is a non-believer - an atheist basically.

A non-muslim would include Christians and Jews. Anyway, if Christians and Jews were Kaafir, they wouldn't have normal rights living under Islamic Law. However, for a Kaafir to live in a muslim country would not be permissable (correct me if i'm wrong). I think they'd have to be exported.

WRONG!

muslims pay zakaah and non-mulsims pay "jizyah" as a tax!

Gadha, vakai.

I'm talking about rights. They're both paying money that is being circulated in some manner in the country. Call it zakat or tax or whatever, money is also coming out of the muslim's pocket.

At any rate, how can you expect to live in a country and not expect to pay a tax? If there's such a country, let me know about it!

I'm talking about human rights and things like that...like one can't be discriminated against ....for example, a university in an Islamic state would not have any right to reject a student because they're jewish or christian.

Firstly I would like to say...

Pay what is Ceasars to Ceasar. Pray what is God's to God.

IMO...

Paying taxes does not define a religious person, and I ask? How holy is it to make one pay to be accepted into a community?

Is it holy? Or greed?
