Calling his Name!!

My Ammi call my dad with his name.. also says him Sain and sometimes poRha

Its not tawanje baba, its Pinhay / babhay in typical Sindhi while discussing something about their father with children. Our Naani refers to Naana as Naanhe (Your naana) and Dadi (Amma Wadi) referred to dada as Babhay Wadho.

My nani does the same like mom, when she talk about nana with us kids she will say tanwah Jo nana and if with someone else she say F Jo baba.

My mom call my dad sahab sometimes

My parents never call each other by Their name even when they are in fighting mood,
Dad call my mom beghum,

Wese my younger mom n dad still call my younger sister nandhari, and my younger bro ‘bacho’

Lol....I was also thinking of mentioning that. Not really a fan of terms of endearments especially when they practically replace the name of your significant other.

My parents have never called each other by their names. However, some of my aunts/uncles do and some don’t/ It’s kinda weird now thinking about it.

I’ll cut her tongue out if she calls me by name…
