Lets just say I registered on Gupshup because of the wedding forum.
GS Users are always being so helpful & eager in giving guidance. Most people do give honest opinions & the Bridal thread is just the most wonderful part of GS.
I don't live in Pakistan & couldn't go there either for my wedding shopping. All the wonderful ideas I got for my wedding from Mayoun, Mehndi to Shadi & Walema came from GS.
From skin care routine to sorting out confusions for outfit colors. I had all the help I needed. So thumbs up from me.

I was a 2009 bride so I guess I can comment here.
I found the wedding forum so helpful in every way...especially when it came to clearing up my skin for the big day and keeping it clear afterwards. I got loads of advice from Gina and when I actually implemented the steps...I got great results.
This forum is amazing.

I was a 2008 bride and I registered around that time to get ideas for mehndi and my reception outfits. GS was helpful in helping me come up with creative clothing designs in my budget and I was able to have a nice wedding by getting ideas from previous weddings and brides.

I was a 2010 bride, I registered to this forum because of the Wedding forum. I got great ideas here for decorations, to designer. I love how everyone tries their best here to help you out by giving advice, ideas and share their personal experiences. I will also give GS Wedding forum a 2 thumbs up!

the GS wedding section is awesome! had really good advice on local MUA's, photographers, halls, etc. It was good to able to hear both the postive and negative experiences of people who work in the industry.
for improvement.hmm...maybe not so much of multiple threads (a good MUA in a certain vicinity, etc). Maybe have sub-threads dedicated for each vicinity so it would be easier to find.

I am a 2011 bride to be, but seriously this forum is amazing. I dint join it specifically for wedding though. But I find everything on this forum fun and helping!!

I joined this forum mAinly for the wedding forum and it help me Alot! Its nice to be able to interact with other ppl Out there n othr brides and share ideas!

A word of advice for future brides if u live in uk and have a choice of going pk to shop then go for it there is soo much variety n value for money out there! I was contemplating whether to get my outfit from pk i took the risk n went out there 6 weeks befre my shadi whch took plce there too.. I found the perrfect outft and my gold jewellery from there:)
