u need high speed internet and you pay for that plus they collect all the info on you and sell it to the highest bidder :D

you need to download voip software for your pc and mobiles (android or sybian whatever your mobile runs).

you can use skype but there are many others like powervoip (alot cheaper for sms and calls per minute, eg uk pc to pk mobile .04cents/minute)

go on the voip website, eg skype and download the app for your pc and the app that will run on your mobile.

then mobile(or pc) to mobile will be free anywhere in the world. (the mobile must be connected to internet)

you can also use msn/google/ymessenger if the mobile app runs on your mobile.

What kind of phones do you have? You can use Fring on Android phones. I used it to call from Pakistan to USA for free. As someone said you can install Skype mobile on most smart phones these days. My dad has it on his Nokia N85

but phone calls in Pakistan are already so dirt cheap, whether through mobile or landline. Why the need to go through the internet? Youd probably pay more for your internet connection than you would for an unlimited nationwide PTCL calling plan.

free is free my friend :slight_smile: some people like to chat 2 hours at a time. and your paying for your internet service anyway why not make full use of it.

She is looking to call mobile phones…Services like fring/nimbuzz/skype etc are not free when calling mobiles or landlines. They are free only for fring to fring, or nimbuzz to nimbuzz calls.
Again, phone service is dirt cheap. Makes little economic sense to go for alternate solutions, unless you are living in a country where phone charges are ridiculously high, eg middle east.

This is the solution im suggesting, skype to skype, fring to fring, nimbuzz to nimbuzz, free voice calls mobile to mobile.

lol little economic sense? ! do you know how much it costs to call mobile to mobile for 3 hours a day 7 days a week for a year? if its little economic sense can i send you my bill? :slight_smile:

  1. She is looking to call mobile phones from the internet…fring to fring or skype to skype wouldnt apply. For these services, the other party would have to have an internet enabled phone, with the same software installed on their phones as well.
  2. Little economic sense, because mobile phone packages in Pakistan offer calls for as little as Rs 3 for the whole hour. At that rate, it wouldnt cost more than Rs. 300 a month in phone bills.

I think the bottom line answer to the original posters message is…there is no service that offers free net to mobile calls. You would have to look at an alternative.

your wrong… its free to call mobile to mobile (or pc to mobile) with correctly installed software… (skype for instance).

the answer to the original posters question is YES, use skype or any skype like service.
