This has been a really bad year for fires, Canada had horrible fires also. could global warming be to blame? Do you live in Cali?

No but I have family lives near some of the fire prone zone!

Hi FBP, thank you for remembering me. AH we are all fine but the destruction this fire has caused is horrible. So many of people I know including family have lost their homes. We had to evacuate in the middle of the night and are still in evacuation zone, no electricity or internet but so far our house is fine thank God. They still have only contained 10% so far. One of the most terrifying things I had to go through in my life. I am at a Starbucks right now charging my phone and checking up on things.

Oh honey... I can't even imagine. I am so relieved you and your family are safe though sorry to hear about the damages to houses of family and friends! The news reports are just horrific.

Honestly I am still in shock. On sunday afternoon we were at a park, happily munching on food during a picnic. We took picturesque back road where, sister and I were pointing at all the homes with wineries and ranches up on the hills that were gorgeous and in a matter of hours, those houses burned to the ground later that night. I don't think I will ever forget the explosions and flames from the fire that I saw not a mile away from my house before we left.

if anyone wants to donate to the fires https://www.redwoodcu.org/northbayfirerelief I was told this a good source.
Offcourse their is the American Red Cross as well…but not sure about that. Hope everyone stays safe..
