but exams are good too

In Pakistan, the terms used to be

C.W. = Class Work .. we used to have C.W. Copy (notebook) for every subject

H.W. = Home Work .. a separate notebook as well :hinna:

we used to have that Home Work Diary in which we used to note all the home works assigned on daily basis and teachers and guardian used to sign it… aur uss kee checking bhee hoti thee like if parents signed it or not

I dunno how it works in States here… never went to high school or stuff here.. direct college jaanaa paR gayaa thaa

In Pakistan, I used to get “chuttiyon ka kaam” to do over the 3 months summer break :hinna:

I prefer in exams,…I can just sit there and regurgitate all the info,..but coursework I hate having to do research.

i think i can do c.wrk better because you can research facts and then you can go through ur papers and see if you need to add anything to get that "extra" boost in ur results......but exams......u jst gta sit the paper and u cant go back to it :(

Thats the thing I like about it cos it gets over and done with whereas coursewrk,…draft, re-draft,.final draft

Thats the whole point duh,.no-one does…apart from the examiner…and you don’t have to change anything,…it’s a true reflection of your ability

I do better in C.W caz imma time freak
**i get nervous if im timed . **
AND sumtimes during exams i wake up in the morning & just throw up with the anxiety

what AQ and shikra said…i did it. you kids in the west have it too easy

i also had a separate notebook for homework and a separate one for class work. bought from school ofcourse and they had to be neat. NEAT! so had to invest in a good eraser and pencil, and when we finally upgraded to pens ( ) in a good (eagle) pen and that white out pen thingy. oh my that was cool!
