Some teachers used to ask us to write the same work 3-5 times, by hand, no photocopies :grumpy:

Well, since most high schools kids don’t have jobs in Pakistan, especially during the summer, I think all this was to keep them occupied and save muhalley waley from awara gardi :hmmm:

Do the homework so many times, on a register, “hashiya” (draw a line) on one side, write the heading with blue or black marker, in some case write with “holder”, cover the copies/registers with brown paper, etc. I mean GIVE US A FREAKING BREAK!!! :frusty:

Meney bhi :hugz: I had just entered 10th in March, then we had vacations and so much work, got the visa in summer, said “screw homework” and came to the US in August :hula: But when we came here, they put me in 9th for “my good” so I would have the experience of spending all 4 years in high school :rolleyes:
