Then it was about dumbness as Trump is the agent for the elites who siphoned off the wealth to the wealthiest, we have seen the trickle down economy take away wealth from middle class and rich got richer. He wants to cut taxes on wealthy, reduce legislation on banking, shut down environment agency, reduce education deptt add war eqpt and stuff. Doesnt look like a recipe of success for middle class. He wants to repeal Dodd Frank and Glass Steagall.

Racism and Xenophobia is all about physical appearances, most of the people targeted by hate looked very typical of their race. Why so angry dude…lol..and no I am not a Hindu. I have witnessed on many discussion forums the Hindu nationalist revelling in Trumps win as if Trump will make them 6 ft tall, make their grey skins pink and change their odour of rotting meat into fragrance. Ironically since they are darker and smaller they will be a more visible target for the racists.

This statement makes assumption on two things, 1. that All Pakistanis are fair skinned; not true. Have you met them all? 2. KKK and White Supremacists hate only based on skin color. While that may be true, but they hate anyone who doesn’t share their ideology including Jews many of who are of European descent and lack the Semitism that they seem to champion while having no roots of it.
And it does, in fact make it seem like you share the same mindset that you’re railing against, as pointed out by Sachaydino. Perception is a powerful tool, and while we may perceive Donald Trump to be a culmination of all ills of this society, the fact of the matter is, he has been elected President by more than just a minority KKK and White Supremacists, unless you’ll now claim that majority of all American belong to those groups.
It helps to curb making sweeping statements, even in the pursuit of trying to make a point.

Hitler was elected democratically, US has refused to accept some democratically elected govts based on the ideology that they support terrorism or will not uphold human rights. As I mentioned before, human rights supersede democracy. So if a democratically elected govt decides to kill minorities or implement apartheid than it should be okay. Hindu nationalists support Trump because of their hatred for Muslims. Whoever votes for a known racist, sexist, misogynist, Islamophobe is contributing in promoting racism and sexism. Also let us remember that 75 percent of the population did not vote for him.
I have seen many Pakistanis and on average they seem lighter skinned compared to the Hindu extremists supporting Trump

@SID has posted the stats on his election thread, almost 50 percent people did not vote and out of 50 percent who voted Donald got less votes than Hillary. It has been stated that conservatives have stronger beliefs and on average are older voters and they participate at a much higher percentage. Lower turnout works in favor of republicans.
Voter turnout in 2016 looks low so far ? and that may have helped Donald Trump - Vox
