hillary’s policies may lack transparency, and she may have brought a certain level of political uncertainty but to vote in trump is an act of walking with xenophobia and jingoism. i cannot fathom why you would actually go out and vote for him as an ethnic minority in a world that is slowly turning extremely right wing. a vote for trump was a vote to legitimize sexism, racism, prejudice and blind discrimination. he may face pressure from senate/congress but it’s the ideological shift that is of more concern because it will directly affect policy and decision-making. i could attack the far right but it’s actually the average joe who is tired of listening to “experts” or being “patronised” by people who know what they’re talking about, and would much rather focus on emotion or populist party lies. that, and people don’t vote.
i thought brexit would be tough enough.. honestly, the only thing left to do is vote in marine le pen to complete this deluded circle jerk of twats that are undoing decades of work put in to create some level of equality. worrying times for the west, and the rest of the world too.
