@SID has posted the stats on his election thread, almost 50 percent people did not vote and out of 50 percent who voted Donald got less votes than Hillary. It has been stated that conservatives have stronger beliefs and on average are older voters and they participate at a much higher percentage. Lower turnout works in favor of republicans.
