It's an old personification we heard since forever. Is there such thing? When was the last time you had butterflies for someone?
To add that there's bad kinds of butterflies too for I know I had some before. Bad gut feelings.

Makes sense, it must be a teen thing. Lakin if you're mutasir by someone, butterfly or two is the least anyone deserves, when they're told they are loved.

^ Dopamine plus Serotonin, yes. Pretty similar rushes. Women tend to have butterflies more often though, whereas men usually keep it under the garb as if nothing ever happened
I was thinking adrenaline rush. Agree that women probably get them more often than men. Lakin even from a female perspective, dil kabhi kabhi meherbaan hota hai. These butterflies ought to be honored and cherished [by underlying party ofcourse].

Sometimes people get weak in the knees to later find they are catfished..lol...our reptilian brain is very unreliable......Many evolutionary psychologists have identified women to be hypergamic but I am not so sure anymore. I was just trying to get people to flirt and put their guards down, but seems like everyone’s too shy to do so.
