I'm all for talking things through......but there are times when kids just get stubborn and then Mamaof3's way prevails.
But a lot of this is dependent on age too........
13 year olds, as far as I am concerned and as far as I have seen, have the ability to reason and understand. Time should be taken to sit down and communicate.
On the other hand.....13 year olds also have the ability to present some pretty compelling arguments of their own.......then Faisal's solution should be implemented.
