Re: Bush: the worst president?
Semi, again that is all fine and agreed upon, so what is the solution that dems or liberals have put forth. Show me at least one viable solution that has come from teh left side of the aisle.

Re: Bush: the worst president?
That's like asking me to fix the glass vase that you shattered because of your carelessness.
But for the problems I specifically addressed it is easy: don't lie, deceive, alienate or divide. Insist upon fairness and truthfulness from your people. Don't start wars with no end that cost billions a month while lowering taxes for your supporters.
Get rid of Cheney, Rummy and the rest of the neo-cons that are destroying our country.
Re: Bush: the worst president?
It is funny how Maulanas and the sympathizers of Ben La-Deen talk like hard core liberals.
Bush presidency has two important facets: internal, and the external to the US.
Internally he didn't do too bad. Externally his score is still being tallied as the Iraq war continues.
Most of the Maulanas on this forum won't give a hoot to what Bush does internal to US. This is regardless of what liberals may cry and shout.
The only trouble Maulanas have is with Americans beating the crap out of their Sunni brethren. Well that beating will come through regardless of who is in the White House.
Kerry may say whatever he wants. Any democrat who actually gets elected will be more inclined to continue the Middle East policy.
I mean Arabs have gone hoarse crying about Palestinians. Has any democrat ever changed US policy in this regard? The answer is a big fat belly dancer's behind "NO". In fact Democrats (historically) have been more pro-Israel than most of the Republicans.
Guess what, US policies in Syria, Iraq, and Iran are just an extension of their Israel-Palestinian policies of the past.
Best regards

Re: Bush: the worst president?
LOL… man you just got yourself a step father!!!
Re: Bush: the worst president?
^yes, that is kaleem in a nutshell.
Anti-obl- Please take goverment spending out of it and recompute the numbers and tell me how the economy is going. Thanks.
Re: Bush: the worst president?
^ ahhhh, Govt. spending has always been a big part of the economy. Dopey, you may want to give your degree back to the school you got it from.
Re: Bush: the worst president?
PA, let me say that I expected much better response…but oh well, when you dont have any solid evidence to prove your wolf cries you are expected to resort to such lame tactcis. ![]()
Re: Bush: the worst president?
I thought the repugnicunts were against big govt spending.
So, let me see. My economy is going to the ****ters. what to do. Let me borrow more money from the treasury, increase the national debt, spend the borrowed money on Gov’t spending and give the economy an artificial boost. Perfect ponzi scheme.
Problem is, we are shelling out upwards of $360 billion in interest for our maasive national debt.
yes, you will argue that national debt wasnt just created during the bush years, and democrats are responsible too. But it is a question of degree. here is your chart.
http://www.cedarcomm.com/~stevelm1/usdebt.htm
Kaleem, do not fk with Ivy league degrees. They are expensive.
Re: Bush: the worst president?
Dopey, there is something called common sense that you may have misplaced while studying in a "pussy errr Ivy league" school.
Economy is fine, tech sector is on the rebound and so is energy. Patience my brother, everything will take care of itself just in time.
Plus the article is from a self proclaimed Bush basher...we should put a lot of credibility and weight behind that one ...NOT :D
Re: Bush: the worst president?
That is such an easy way out - to dismiss someone as a Bush basher. How can anyone who is totally disgusted with the actions of this president be anything but a Bush-basher?
Re: Bush: the worst president?
Kaeelm, i am serioulsy beginning to question your intelligence. Dont dismiss the website as a bush-bashing one. I asked you to look at the chart. What part of the chart do you not agree with?
Re: Bush: the worst president?
I don’t have solid evidence? I don’t have to prove anything.. burden of proof is on the asserter.. anti-obl thinks the economy is doing fine.. you seem to agree.. let’s see the numbers as evidence for the aspects i mentioned.
There. Made it simple enough so even you can understand ![]()

US growth defies rate rises

The US economy grew by a faster-than-expected 4.3 per cent in the third quarter, shrugging aside both higher interest rates and the most damaging hurricane season in recent history.

Re: Bush: the worst president?
It seems like these words came straight out of Limbaugh Newsletter.
Re: Bush: the worst president?
Who are the ‘maulanas’ you keep talking about???
Or is that your way of referring to the neocon thugs that want to do things by hook or crook!! ![]()
Internally, he didn’t do bad??? ![]()
Due to his tax cuts for the rich (no dividend tax etc basically rolling back the progressive nature of federal tax structure), unless you are rich in the future as if you are in the middle class, you will be really f*ked in the future since government will have to find the $$$ one way or the other in the future (by as well raise taxes but THAT ISN’T BUSH’S WORRY IS IT??
).
Economy is growing in some sectors (the jobs that ended up getting outsourced aren’t coming back and that will eventually hurt america as its R&D infrastructure is eroded). Jobless numbers don’t always tell you the true picture as you can only claim unemployment till 9 months so even if you don’t find a job by then, you stop receiving it and hence you are not counted in the unemployment rate anymore!..
I wonder how gullible can some people be here? ![]()
Re: Bush: the worst president?
AS, I dont listen or read that bafoon’s words. He is a looney.
Re: Bush: the worst president?
Yes, I wonder that too, knowing that most of the jobs being outsourced has nothing to do with R & D. Can you do better than spreading rumors and fear?
Re: Bush: the worst president?
Dear Blitz,
Let’s not accuse each other of being gullible and get down to facts.
Talking about US economy, I accept that my impression of America is through Middle and Upper Middle Class American-Pakistanis. I may not know how well an average aloo-store owner has done in New Jersey recently.
People in the circle that I know have gained nicely during Bush’s tenure. They made their fortunes in the real estate, and they benefited greatly due to Bush’s tax cuts as well. Remember America still is the frontier’s land of opportunity. So it is no-frills go-get them type place, that shouldn’t be compared to Finland.
Instead of getting mudhosh and rolling eyes, let me know what is your source of info on US economy. Let’s for the moment limit it to personal experiences, as the papers may be biased in one way or the other.
Best regards
Re: Bush: the worst president?
Upper class always does good (look at case of Pakistan) so it is the middle class that one basis his estimates on!
And kaleem, what stuff are you on?
It must very potent :D for you to think that R&D jobs are not being outsourced to India AND that it will not hurt america in the future...
lol
