Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/22/bush.musharraf/index.html

President Bush on Friday said he was “taken aback” by a report that a U.S. official threatened the United States would attack Pakistan if it did not help immediately after 9/11.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Bush is probably surprised cuz such things are to be disclosed only 30 years after it happens (by US, per US rules) but someone already let the cat out of the bag..... I felt like Mush removed his and Bush underwear in public.

Re: Bush ‘taken aback’ by Mush’s allegation

^ Or alternatively, this is a stunt by Mushy to sell his book

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

dont think he need stunts to sell that book

Re: Bush ‘taken aback’ by Mush’s allegation

Lol… thats funny.. but I dont think so..

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Then why the disclosure now (after 5 yrs) ?

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Yeah and mushie today himself said that he can't discuss it anymore since he is under contract by his publisher...hahahaha...mushie bit on more then he could chew yet again...didn't realize this will make him look even a bigger acquiescent sell out prick than he already is known to be...

In a typical male gay diva he described Armitage's comment as "rude"...what the frick a country has just threatened you with annhilation, no matter how hollow a threat and you describe it as rude...grow some dignity and balls for once, mushie...

Re: Bush ‘taken aback’ by Mush’s allegation

There are many things about this whole deal that would be disclosed years from now from all parties involved .. dontcha think

anyways what musharraf just disclosed was not a big secret..did anyone seem surprised at the statement? inuitively everyone knew that something like this had happened

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Probably because Mushi got pissed when Bush said that they would send troops into Pak borders if they have intelligence that Osama is hiding in Pak.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Just a question, why is Musharraf writing a book when he is still in office?

Dont politicians write books after they leave office?

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

^He is not a politician, dictators become worthless, once out of office.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

I think we are all taken aback that a country's leader is hocking books instead of acting like a statesman. As dictator, can't he just raid the coffers instead of stuping to the level of hocking a book? I'd have more respect. He belongs on Jerry Springer rather than the world stage.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

PRetty sure what he said was true, I mean come on, of course Bush would deny it, pretty sure most people in Pakistan and around the world knew it already, I'm mean your either with us or against us...it was pretty much aimed at Pakistan.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

1) Musharraf says some-one told him, may be his uncles sons neices daughters friends wife.

2) Monkey says this is the first time it heard about it.

3) Armitage Refutes Musharraf's Claim.

I think it was Santa all along!

Re: Bush ‘taken aback’ by Mush’s allegation

jis ki billi [bush ki ] uski ko meow [bush ko]…

mushi ke din ginnay ja chukay hein…

CIA will make a fire-cracker out of it…for all pakistan to enjoy…:k:

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Bush also claims that Al Qaeda has a connection to Saddam even tho their own intelligence agencies and senate committees are saying otherwise, so they are only facts if the Bush administration claims they are even if they are lies, nothing else.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

We should have some sort of show or put these guys in one room together and watch it with cameras: Bush, Blair, Musharraf, Karzai, Ahmedinejad, Israeli leader, Saddam, Kim, Chavez, Nasrullah.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Either Big Brother or Fear Factor :D

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Mushrraf is a hero, a soldier and a very brave tough leader of Pakistan. It is just that we are very unappreciative people who refuse to understand what he is merit. I bet those entire experts, critics and intellectuals cannot pull Pakistan out of a pile that it was in before he became our President.

Re: Bush 'taken aback' by Mush's allegation

Well now he is a self serving, book-pushing, talk show guest. Seriously, as dicator why doesn't he just steal from the treasury instead of acting like a washed up actor selling a book? Or ask Bush for some more money?
