Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
are the NO residents this thick that they cannot raise the money themsleves to protect their own arse. Why didn’t the state govt do anything?
The height of immaturity.
You obviously do not live in America… ![]()
That’s what taxes are for. The gov’t is supposed to be responsible for funds that huge. State funds are nothing compared to what the feds have.
No individual city can do that sort of fundraising, nor do American citizens feel the need to raise fundraisers for public works projects. That is fed domain, and everyone who is an American knows that.
Really, its like I’m talking to a KG bacha.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)

PCG your turn sweetie… kick him in the balls..atta girl. Then you go Kaleem.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
Cuba forces people to evacuate hurricane impact zones at gunpoint.
The lesson here is that when a natural disaster is expected, martial law should be imposed before and not after the even in order to save lives.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
Hey dopey ass…did you post something to prove that Federal Govt. is responsible for upkeep of cities?
I am done talking with morons like you…
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
They are partially responsible for upkeep of cities along with states. The fed government is responsible for all states and everything inside of them...hence why fed government has domestic policies.
FEMA is a fed-funded entity.
Really, I am done with this kid. He really is sitting in Lahore with little idea of what America is like - chances are he's watching his news on GEO tv.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
I know teh difference between the funds and the amount between Federal and state level. Does the Federal govt also pay for school boards…no you see, when you pay taxes for your county certain portion of it is used for projects such as these.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
^ PCG, you are up. He is a sunni btw
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
Fed gov't pays for national education, yes. What planet are u living on? School boards do recieve state money - they also recieve funds from fed gov't.
How is this guy arguing about things he doesn't know A, B, C about?
Clean up your language kiddo. And I mean NOW.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
Yep, PCG miss know it all. Maybe you want to ask him again to send you back to grade school so you can learn the difference between the responsibilities of Federal, state and local governemnts.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
I am sunni too, btw.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
I didnt need to because somone else already did. We are talking about levees, not entire cities. But then who knows if you even know the difference.
Oh, the rant about why NOLA residents dont pull themselves by their bootstraps and do something about the levees made me chortle.
You=owned. Now go help the negroes in the astrodome and ask them why dont they get off their lazy ass and fix the levees themselves.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
The only person that has no clue about where fed money goes is YOU, Kaleem.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
I agree with Kaleem that playing the blame-game doesn't help the situation. In my opinion both the state and federal government screwed up. Kudos to Kaleem for giving his time and efforts at the Astrodome.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
Yep majority of teh school boards money is raised by the taxes paid by the residents. Ever heard of municipal districts?
P.S. How is that 2-wire wireless router working for you ![]()
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
PD,
When did you become Jesse Jackson? A category 4 storm hits Boston, and it will not be any better, with 95% White people. Our "microwave" society has unrealistic instantantaneous expectations.
And Kaleem dude, hats off to you for volunteering in Houston. Well done.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
between daddies and kids and memons, we are forgetting one important thing. I am going to be spending Labor day weekend in the city. It has been lik efive years since I did that. I always spent the last weekend of the summer on the shore. Plus, I think I will have dosa for lunch. Been a while, what y'all think.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
This is true. At least in my county.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
Of course tax money goes to school board. But they get fed money as well. School boards are not just plain run on tax money from districts.
Hence all the education programming funds from the fed gov't. Have u ever watched a State of the Union Address?
Please clean up your language, Kaleem. You're only making yourself look immature and absolutely stupid.
Re: Bush administration forced cuts in flood protection in N.O. ($ went to Iraq)
no you are not.
you are a FOG first, then a cracker, and then a memon (you know the brahmin converts, not the shuddar converts), and then you are our very on PCK.
