The whole response has been pathetic. You'd think the world's richest and most technologically advanced nation would never witness the scenes we're seeing live on tv. The scenes from New Orleans resemble a third world country. Its total anarchy. So much for great America, it can't even take care of its own people. Bush's so called experts wholly underestimated the damage, didn't even have an adequate plan and resources in place to help those who would need it promptly.
Its shame that so many people, mostly poor communities, have been left to fend for themselves in horrifying conditions and 4 days on, are still waiting for rescue teams.
Time to call in the UN Relief Agency to help.

OG, Newport in per capita terms is far richer than backwater new orleans neighborhoods. It is not about psychological hinderances ot leaving onces home, if you have $25 in your bank account, you cannot afford to even take a bus. This is the issue.

That is entirely not true. Bush is working really hard with his advisors and various experts to send all the help out there that is needed. Bush has opened up lots of communication channels between agencies and the good results will be evident soon. In my honest opinion, Bush is doing a great job and showing effective leadership, like a great leader should.

Bush is totally out of touch. Last night the moron went on tv and had the audacity to tell the people (the victims, that is) to remain calm as help is on its way. Yeah, like one would remain calm when abandoned 4 days without food and water. Complete $hit for brains. Maybe drop Jenna Bush’s fat ass in the floods and see how he likes it then watching his daughter suffer.

Again not true. Bush has a real good way of connecting with people and he was doing his best ( a remarkable job) to tell people not to panic as help is on the way. Bush understands people and knows how to talk with them. He is a real down to earth fella, someone the average American can connect with.

PA bhaijaan, did you read my post. NO I dont listen to Rush Limbaugh…I spoke with the people who did decide to leave. Yes he was black (african american). He told me that majority of those poor folks refused to leave. Now lets get back to bickering and blame game and not help the folks…that will solve all the problems.
