janab I did not bring 911 into concussion out of nowhere...
you are the one who were responding to PYG's statement about 911 and burqa.... for your convenience here is what you said:
"Are you claiming that it is the niqab-wearing population that supports 9/11, every terrorism act you mentioned?"
And you inserted conspiracies in between?
and i am saying YES to your statement....and my **"qualitative rationale" **is that a country in which majority of the population believes that 911 was done by USA and jews and a country where anti-west and ant-USA feelings are all time high in all sorts of population segments... of course in that country majority of burqa or niqab wearing population which are more religious by design will be anti-west and will support Talibans and their terrorist activities...did you read my post? that was my first line..didnt i say that for them these are not terrorism acts....these are jihadi acts against "oppressive and brutal USA". This is called qualitative rationale.
and as expected you ran towards "quantitative rationale" and started to ask about polls.... don't hide behind polls excuse...lol...or i can ask you to justify many of your statements purely based upon polls as well!
And that is YOUR assessment, not all of us have to accept it as it is. I do agree that there is religious population who believes in what you are saying, but at same time there is huge non-religious population who also believe that. Should we then extrapolate and fit all your points onto that population as well?

for the sake of discussion, we dont need to include non religous population at alll....the only reason i mentioned them was to strengthen my point....that even significant portion of non religious population in pakistan believes in conspiracy theory against USA, and support taliban due to hatred towards west and USA.....so you can imagine what are the feelings among burqa wearing segment which is a religious sgment....

Why not insert non-religious population? Both are anti-US, believe in conspiracy theories... just because you want to ban religious people from following their religion?
Just for the clarification pcg, ruling is not about not hiding the face, but not lettting a cloth touch your face. Both men and women, in ehraam, should not even put a quilt or blanket over their face when sleeping.
Having said that, a lady is allowed to wear a sunshade on her forehead (like golfers do) with a cloth hanging in front of it, so their face is still covered without a cloth touching it

I dont want to ban religious people from something just because i dont appreciate a certain way of lifestyle. This is against my fundamental belief - the secular system. I was simply answering your question to PCG... "are you claiming that it is the niqab-wearing population that supports 9/11, every terrorism act you mentioned?"
My rationale for burqa ban is purely based on security grounds and if there is not enough supporting data, there shd be absolutely no burqa ban. This is against the basic fundamental values of any secular system.
Thanks for the links... what you are calling "non-sense" is a belief for someone. If you don't believe in niqab its your choice, but stop calling it non-sense.
That beleif is severely damaging the sanctity of Islam. When such rigidness creates criminality, it is better to shun that rigidity. Replace with some thing more decent. Don't hide your face. I am sure there is nothing mentioned in Holy Quraan or Hadis, to hide your face with burqa. Any way burqa is not the symbol piousness or decent woman either. And I also don't approve the other extreme where really the Holy Qur'an and Hadis condemned such vulgarity.

No, it is NOT THAT belief that is severely damaging the sanctity of Islam. People rob banks with no face covered, they commit millions of crimes in different shapes, why is that only "Islamic" looking shapes are made fun of, blamed, slammed, need to be banned?

WRONG again....shor app log macha rahay hain who do not have patience to discuss anything in a rationale manner and bring your "religious ego" into everything. Anyway i think we have made our respective points..so lets move on.

janab you are making presumptuous statements again.
If any other religion is practicing burqa on a regular basis, all of the above mentioned discussion will be completely valid in context of security framework for that religious group. .
If a certain group practices burqa as a cultural practice, the issue needs to be discussed in context of security framework for that group
If someone wears a hood all the time when he is in public, the the issue needs to be discussed in context of security framework.
Nothing to do with islamic looking shapes...dont try to pollute discussion with "Islamic sympathy"

lol. If certain people (according to you) bring their 'religious egos' into everything then I can safely say that you too have 'religious insecurities' which are so obvious in a lot of your discussions.

All you did was cry about your opinion, you didn't prove me wrong, you jumped in only to support PCG's view because it aligned with yours.

Now you are being presumptuous, people don't practice burqa as "cultural practice", they believe it is mandated by religion. How am I polluting discussion with religious sympathy?

I am not here to "prove you wrong".............
Yaar captain...one of these days when you go to the bed and cannot fall sleep..why don't you spend sometime thinking when was the last time you participated in a discussion not to "score a point"!!!
