Burqa Bannings

Especially after this Sikandar Siege case, I hope they put a serious ban to not only guns (right, like anyone can enforce that crap), but to Burqas. God knows what she could have been hiding under there, and she could easily have shot someone when that PPP buddha hurled himself at her husband.

I say, cut the burqa and make every woman show her face. It’s now become a security issue. You can hide easily, and carry anything under it. Imagine, I bet that is how the terrorists are getting around funneling things within Pakistan. Convincing every woman to wear the burqa so she doesn’t go to hell, and then they put on the burqa themselves and hussle ammo and illegal stuff from place to place.

Re: Burqa Bannings

I don’t know why my post was removed but that is very relevant. If burqa is banned then government must specify tight short jeans and tight upper shirt for women as dress code so it is easy to identify if a women is carrying any concealed weapon or not. You may extend this to men if you so wish :chai:

Re: Burqa Bannings

u mean Burq'a or any loose covering like chadar or shawl?

these are religious requirements for those who want to live by the Islamic dress code, according to whatever fiqh they are following. in an Islamic country, how can you ban an Islamic dress code? there will be more severe effects of banning on the society. people will NOT sit idle and let the government take away their right to dress according to Islamic dress code.

Re: Burqa Bannings

I agree with you.

Ban ...... car/burqa/Moustache/kids/nikker/banyan.

Why dont people just accept the internal haterd for deen. Innalilah. If you dont know it then see inside you will find some one making you hate things related to deen.

Re: Burqa Bannings

It's not about hating deen. It's about a security concern. Even in Makkah, at Hajj and Umrah, you can't cover your face. They need to be able to see everyone for crowd control.

Re: Burqa Bannings

my post that got removed was on the same lines, some people cannot take sarcasm?

Re: Burqa Bannings

are you sure during hajj umrah, not covering your face is for security reasons? seriously?

that requirement is only a restriction of "ehraam" once you are out of ehram, you can cover you face as you please

its nothing but inherent hate for deen as rightly put by bao bihari, someone cries about sharia, some cry about burqa, some want banning islamic political parties, some want removing "Islamic" part from the name of country, it never stops

Re: Burqa Bannings

Shkar Allah ka Laakh Laakha aap nay yah naheen kah dia kay larkeon ko paida hotay he dafna dia jay, nah rahay ga baans nah bajay gi bansuri :cobra:

Re: Burqa Bannings

Some unorthodox reasons why one should wear a Burqa (copied from a blog)

Beauty: It keeps your skin from getting tanned.

It acts as a bad breath Shield!

Burqa may not be a great “Protest” tool. But it’s a great “Protection” tool.

“Camouflage”. Burqa offers excellent camouflage. Women using Burqa-Protection remain undetected by men at night

When out in a park, though you might attract most of the mosquitoes towards yourself (owing to the black color), they would remain unable to bite you! No malaria!

Burqa doesn’t cramp your style, it’s simply.. High-Fashion!

Lastly, it makes you look really cool and dark and dangerous!

Try some burqa baji.

:hehe:

Re: Burqa Bannings

Now I am waiting for someone to post a funny blog giving some unorthodox reasons for women not coming out of houses at all.

Re: Burqa Bannings

oh yeah..last i knew Allah says that only he knows the real intentions of human beings....do you even realize how strong these words are? hate for deen! astaghfarullah!

crying fo sharia, banning burqa or islaimic parties do not automatically mean that it is hate for deen..bangladeshi courts banned islamic parties for constitutional reasons....is it hate for deen?

anyway, if i am allowed to wear what i want then why would i care if some women want to wear buraqa....be my guest and wear whatever you like.

but if there is a security issue then everything is up for discussion....read agaian, discussion! now that does not mean that it is ultimate hatred for deen as you would like to think.

dont suffocate it too much my friend! it is already hard to breath.....

Re: Burqa Bannings

Yes! For one (minimal) incident let's ban the burqa for security reasons. The world will be so much safer, because every day people (mis)use the burqa for wrong purposes.

Going by that analogy, cars should be banned too. Sikandar (and other terrorists and goons) drove around in a car. You can hide anything or anyone in cars and go from place to place. And then kill people.

Re: Burqa Bannings

Darhi waliay shaitaan ban kar nahn sakay...burqa ban kar loo.

Re: Burqa Bannings

can we also ban oxygen so the burqa clad ninjas cant breathe

Re: Burqa Bannings

What happened :hmmm:

Re: Burqa Bannings

burqe ke fawa’id

Re: Burqa Bannings

The people motivated (read brainwashed) don't need to hide behind a burqa to conceal their suicide jackets. They are programmed to believe that they are going out on a mission to achieve jannah. Just like we advocate freedom of speech here, if some one wants to wear burqa it should be taken as their inherent right.

Re: Burqa Bannings

If islam doesn't say to wear burqa, then why do we wear burqas? If it is about "freedom of speech" then blasphemers should also have freedom of speech like the kaafirs / jews of Arabia had when the Prophet himself was alive. This hypocrisy reeks of GOP which was displayed by their flip-flop Romney in the last elections.

Re: Burqa Bannings

a question for everyone

if burqa shd be allowed because there is no restriction on the way people want to dress up and everyone should be allowed to dress up per their demand with no compulsion (and i completely agree)

then....

all of us shd unanimously condemn saudi practices of enforcing burqa on women as well because many women do not want to wear burqa....moreover women shd be allowed to wear jeans and skirts in saudi as well because our women are allowed to wear burqa in western cities even though locals dont feel comfortable with burqa

right?
