Poddy- The elite of Elite in Pakistan do go to Bunto, but saying that 3 lakh will not get you a stunning bunto is an under-statement, 3 lakhs is a big amount, and it will get you a nice Bunto jora. At the end of the day its not money, its your own personal taste that makes your whole look complete and stunning. Or well it breaks it. There are alot of people who spend 3 lakhs+ and their jora's, their entire look doesn't look good. So its not about money, its about quality and taste. And bunto does work within your budget, you can go to her and ask her to make an outfit for 2 lakhs and she will. She isn't stuck up to say that she will not work within anyones budget. I've only met one such designer and I dont want to name him/her. But Generally ALL designers, Bunto SS etc all work within your budget.

Its not the PRICE of an object that justifies its beauty or stunning looks. Its the QUALITY. Bunto and many other designers have QAULITY, and 3 lakhs can get you a stunning outfit. Again its not about MONEY. its about the work on your clothes, the cloth itself! and most importantly your own personal taste! You can get stunning bridals for 1 lakh as well! Its all about your taste!. and EVERY single designer in PAKISTAN works within your budget, don't forget its a 3rd world country, so saying Elite of Elite is a bit far fetched.

i dunno ive seen a few pieces by her and im not really getting that wow factor everyone claims she has, mayb ill have to go there and see for myself…serously is she using sumthing brought down from the heavens that she charges 5-6 lakh for her embroidary…i cud probably go to the guy in the street who works for her and pay him directly for stunning kaam. I wonder if those poor labourers even get any of the slice of the cake!
neway…im not into heavy embroidary…i think karma and maria b fullfill my needs…either that or im just going to design my own…an original no1 else wud have

can poddy and sabeen cut the crap. sabeen, really no one wants to hear all that criticism, you seem to have a personal vendetta against bunto.
and poddy you sound really annoying. you sound like you have a personal stake in her business and seem to keep promoting it here. firstly, no, the elite of the elite dont only go to her. 3 lakh is a lot of money but its not THAT much. u dont have to be the elite of the damn elite to be able to afford a 3 lakh dress. a lot of people can afford a 3 lakh dress please dont barge in here thinking that no one here has any experience with bunto. quite frankly i wouldnt be surprised if you have never even met the woman.

hehe thank you ;) I'm a Dr Haroon bride myself and I'm a huge fan, but I would never go so far as to fight to the death to defend his style and taste or insult other brides cause they didnt choose the same bridal designer as me so I dont get the influx of guppies who are doing that, whether its for Bunto or Sana Safinaz.
Thank you for that wonderful piece of information, she’s a very close family friend of my inlaws as well, infact let me be a bit more specific- her daughter Fizza and my hubby’s cousin are childhood best friends, I am sure you can imagine the rest.
Anyhow, now that I have shared my wonderful piece of information as well ( 
) my question was actually directed at Sabeen who has been writing her very-much-infact posts. Seems like she has dealt with Bunto first hand many times and knows her quite well.
Fasaadi, Dolcevita, and WishKamar have probably summed up what most of the people here want to say.
amen! and yeah I thought that red bridal didn’t look like a Bunto, but since she’s not my ‘personal family friend,’ I didn’t want to contest that.

and i just want to add one tiny thing..that no matter what a bride is wearing...whatver brand jewellery,shoes bag etc etc...what makes a bride really pretty that day is how happy she is from inside :) the glow on her face..and some haya :P

Apparently bunto bride's are really happy with their bridal outfit....since u NEVER hear one crying abt how ugly ...or its too heavy ...or the wrong color.

It gets so tiring seeing people nitpick a bride, make fun of her decor, her pictures etc. Majority of bridse dont know their pictures will be on here being torn apart by total strangers, u think its fair for them? and most of the ones who do this would never post their own pictures...
anyway sorry for the tangent, this forum really is great for help and ideas and to foster friendships but you always find 1 or 2 negative things every where...................

**ok i think everything pro and against bunto that could ever be thought has already been said here, so i'm going to call for a stop on the back and forth. each side has presented their opinion several times, and has rebutted the opposite opinion, also several times.
