Indeed, tbh the whole wedding was very very OTT but stunning at the same time. The guests looked fantastic! I'll see if I can find more pics.

go back a few pages... bottom is pretty heavy too - the second heaviest bunto i have seen.. the first was in real and it was peach and pink Gawwjus! the only bunto i like till date.

love bunto’s work … color ofcourse is a personal choice … whatever whoever wants … but i like the work-effect she gives …
wedding is the only day you get to be OTT without anyone complaining, and i aint backing off :pcg:
i like the traditional look … not so keen about the new modern kinda looks … thats more for the valima (and sana safinaz is a good choice for that) … but barat has to be super duper traditional!

that’s fun! i think my folks are quite safe of my bridezilla-ish antics since i am far away from them right now … and all orders are being passed away via God-bless telecommunications getting married on 24th jan inshAllah
i’m not really big on “labels” … i dont care where the dress is from, as long as it looks good, or who is doing the event, as long as it looks like what i want (morrocan/spanish-courtyard theme).
and in my case though … i have the guy sorted out, and my barat dress … which is something like this thread is about 
.. the valima thing is under-discussion (i want something my mother is not so sure about … lol .. lace/net/chiffon/romance ) … i let my parents do the barat function as they want, given they let me boss around on my mehndi and valima.
jewelery … i wont really say jewels are my bestest friend … whatever it is, has to be solid and NOT dull (shiny things attract me :D)… no lariyaan type things dilly-dallying everywhere … i like a solid piece. i really love my mom’s jewelry … stuff from and uptil the early 80s! for my valima … i’d be happy with stunning diamonds in my ears and on my arms … no neck piece

@farah! OMG so close hainaaa!! well i hope everything turns out to be jjust the way you want! one of my cousins wore like pearls ladiyaan and diamond polki earrings with pearl drops on walima! looked stunning... dont go for nothing in neck but strands of beads of choice or matching :)O

Hey Sabeen, I checked out those website for the jewellery, its soo stunning! Do you kno of any other good jewellers, Indian, Pakistani? I'm not gettin married yet..I'm also missing the most important aspect..the guy..lol, but it's good to know once i do find him..or rather he finds me ;)!
