Bunto Kazmi's Designs

Re: Bunto Kazmi’s Designs

As for **Synthetic Polyester-based Net, **the fabrc isn’t worth it. It’s the cheap net on which Indian sarees are being made thesedays and being sold abundantly at Rabi / Aashiyana.

Cotton net, the Pakistani one, is by far my MOST LOVED fabric. I got it at 1,100 rupees per yard from Hilal Silk, Zamzama, The beauty of this fabtic is that it sustains the heaviest of kaams including dabka, kaamdani and zardozzi. Not to forget the fact that it prevents kaam from getting tangled and uljahna.

and yes I share your skepticism about imported fabric.

The locally available fabric of cotton net, comes in so many designs, With gold *bootis, zari bootis etc. *It is actually beautiful and paaidaar.
