Does it annoy you? People like nadia khan?
Are you bubbly by nature?
Do you think people can misinterpret the bubbliness as being rude/over-confident?

A youthful and energetic spirt is attractive...within reason. People are drawn to those who are positive.
BUT....over the top bubbliness....(as sometimes is the case with Nadia Khan) can be irritating.
I don't think I'm an overall bubbly person (I associate that with being extroverted)....and I'm more of an introvert. With people that I'm very comfortable with (such as family and close friends).....I can lbe "bubbly."
Yes, I do think that (over-the-top) bubbliness can come across as rude if the person does has little regard for what emotions would be more appropriate to display during various situations. For example, if you're going through some tragedy or crisis and the "bubbly" person responds with and quick and cheeful "It'll be alright" and then quickly moves on to share an account of how wonderful last night's party was....................the lack of empathy will turn you off. Or someone who is extremely bubbly may have a baytakalluf attitude that could violate the boundaries of others. In sombre situations that require silence.....a bubbly person's attitude might offend others.
For example, I know of a situation where a person's father passed away. People had come to offer their condolonces. And the host (guy, by the way) was turned off by the loud laughter of the more "bubbly" or extroverted female guest....which could be heard from quite a ways and continued for quite some time.
Kuch grace/finesse hota hai unn mein.... they just make you smile, not make you want to tear you hair out :p there's a very fine line between being bubbly and chichora.
So when does it turn into over-the-top bubbliness? ![]()
Being a very quiet and boring person myself I really like to be around jolly people, with a nice sense of humour, people who’re bubbly… and i think nadia is cute ![]()
She’s such a sweet mommy-like figure!
Re: Bubbliness
^ I don't watch the show anymore..becausee I'm not overly fond of it. Used to though....and even then, I was more interested in the guests and their beneficial information than Nadia Khan.
I don't remember exact moments where her bubliness became over-the-top.
I do think that sometimes she can act childish (and bubbly doesn't necessarily have to be childish).....and I'd get turned off by how she'd interrupt the guests several times and draw the attention to herself and her "cutey-patooty" comments or the clever/taiz jokes.
i don't watch the show either so i probably missed out on the bits where she was being rude n stuff... but this is not about her... about bubbly people in general
So far, it seems like a high percentage of people will get put off by someone who's really bubbly n talkative...
Re: Bubbliness
she is a 6choree and not even a decent one :)

As an introvert....I feel that A LOT of people seem to get turned off more by quiet people. They may see it as an abnormality (that there is something wrong with the person), or take it as a sign of being stuck-up, assume that the individual is either worried or too weak, assume that the silence means the person doesn't like you, .....or they're afraid that the quite person is plotting something malicious. They see it as an illness that needs to be cured....though they may not always be aware of the blunders they make when they're yapping a mile a minute.
Opposites can and do attract. But I've usually seen like draw like. People who are bubbly generally hange around bubbly company....and feel less compatible with those that are quiet. And vice versa. Everything within reason. I've read that personalities (introvert/extrovert) are pretty fixed.......but regardless of what you are.....one needs to be tactful/respectful and be mindful about what behaviors are appropriate depending upon the social situation.
i think it takes a lot of courage to be extra bubbly n open and "frank" like nadia is and i really admire people who can do it. i am a very shy and quiet person by nature but i love being around such bubbly people because it makes me feel more at ease. i don't think nadia (or others like her) are overconfident or chichori, but they just want there to be a high comfort level and easy attitude when you talk to them which is why when guests come on her show they often share more information about their personal lives and what their personal thoughts on others than they would on any other interview. its like she understands that we're all just human and act similarly in similar situations so she's not afraid to sound stupid by asking too many questions of her guests or just acting like she's on tv for the first time in her life. lol. i love her honest and genuine behavior :)

^ not always. I would have commited suicide by now if it wasn't for the fun n bubbliness that my friends bring into my life :D If I hung around with people like myself i'd be bored to death i'm telling ya!

there's some truth to this.
Nadia Khan is not bubbly, she's ultra-chichori.... can't stand her.
^ That. Nadia Khan thinks her cutesieness allows her to be rude and condescending and people don't get her true intentions.
Bubbliness is okay - but there needs to be substance, i.e. intelligence and compassion, to go along with it.

i agree too. in my experience, i've always been decieved and hurt by the quiet n shy friends i've kept because you just never know what the heck they're thinking and they tend to be more selfish and jealous whereas the loud n crazy friends are more trust-worthy and reliable. maybe it was just my luck but now i try to stay awayyy from quiet people. i don't even like myself too much when i go into my shy/quiet mode and try really hard to be more of an extrovert when the situation allows.
Re: Bubbliness
People have often termed me "bubbly"...its a word Im used to and dont mind it as much now that I know what it means.
