Brutal and Melodic

Re: Brutal and Melodic

^ mayb emadhanee can adopt you, Scratchy. He adopted Roman but Roman turned out to be on nikkemma sonofa*****.. So what's in your wallet?

Re: Brutal and Melodic

LOL

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Death metal is satanic ..FYI

Re: Brutal and Melodic

FG, what the hell is wrong with sonofa*****

Re: Brutal and Melodic

LK - Um, I like Metal and Alternative. Can't say I think it is Satanic. Anything creative is indictative of God, not Satan. Satan can only destroy, not create. That said, there are some groups that are pretty bizzare, so don't listen and problem solved :)

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Death and Black metal suck. Thrash metal (read metallica) rules.

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Metallica - S&M album was my fav.....

Because it was sooooo original

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Metallica betrayed its fans by going soft, they are no longer thrash. Slash still rocks.

Re: Brutal and Melodic

c'mon... St. Anger??

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Well, Metallica has more variety. What's the point of producing 10 albums that sound the same?

Re: Brutal and Melodic

I am not saying Metallica is bad, I am still a diehard fan, but Metallica's 'Metallica' was soft by their standards. The drumming at the start of Enter Sandman almost blew my desi made speakers back home.

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Everytime I see Metallica guys making angry faces in front of cameras, I crack up. They look like bunch of angry doofuses. :hehe: Same goes for that Dave Mustane idiot.

Now, regarding Slash, the guy has integrity and he is a great guitar player. But his new band is not Gn’R, not even close. Slash’s Snakepit was ok, Velvet Revolver is alright but I am still waiting for something that blows you away like Sweet Child O’Mine, Paradise City, Patience, or November Rain. So far, Slash & co haven’t produced anything of that calibre yet.

Post Gn’R, Izzy Stradlin’ & The JuJu Hounds released a great blues rock record. You heard that one? It had some very good songs.

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Heck when I wrote slash, I meant slayer. Slash is an excellent guitarist, but he lost all integrity when he played for MJ.

I remember JuJu hounds album good one. GnR died its death when Izzy left, If you notice most of the good songs from UYI, I and II were Izzy's, stupid stupid Axl. I heard he was working on an album, any truth to that?

Mustane, although good has no variety. All his songs sound the same to me, he, however, should have stayed with Metallica.

Re: Brutal and Melodic

One reason hy Metallica’s popularity declied was Lars Ulrich the motor mouth! Everywhere you turn, there is stooopid Lars. Lars is on MTV and he doesn’t know when to shut up. Lars is on CNN regarding Napster. Lars is on Howard Stern, showing off his girlfriend (Matt Damon’s ex-gal) Skyler. It was nauseating!

Lars was arguably the most vocal opponent of Napster. And, he came across as petty! He wasn’t going to go broke anytime soon, now was he?!!!

Here is Bono on VH1 about Napster, and I am paraphrasing:

In the 80s, everbody was worried about audio tapes and the copying of songs. People thought that audio tapes were going to destroy the music industry. Our fans used to copy our songs. In the 90s, its the Napster and again people are worried about music industry’s survival. They’d steal our songs too and cost us our revenue. But I don’t care. I am already overpaid (laughs).

So, there is Bono, and then there is a scoop full of baby poop on the floor called Lars, you decide. :hehe:

Re: Brutal and Melodic

FG and Cat Woman, why are you two such sons of *******? Look at the use of asterisks, to your moderation folly and reply very carefully…I is in a mood to have a little fun. :flower1:

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Izzy was a great song writer.

Gn’R members complemented each other and were a great band together.

I still get a kick out of humming Pretty Tied Up and Double Talkin’ Jive.

Re: Brutal and Melodic

LI you are forgetting 'Back off Bytch'

FG and Catty, this is a song, please dont delete :D

Re: Brutal and Melodic

LI - What about 'Used to Love Her', that was hysterical

Re: Brutal and Melodic

^^

Thanks. I was thinking about the song but didn't remember the name. :)

Re: Brutal and Melodic

Actually, I didn’t like that song. It had violent undertones.

Axl was a misogynistic bugger.
