Again, hand chopping was a quick justice. It was a need back then. Such horrific punishments were not part of just Islamic culture. Churches in dark ages used to burn the culprits alive. We have a very refined law and order system now, so it’s better to follow that. There are nations that are moving away from capital punishment and we are still stuck with stone to death. Horrific I must say.

Shariah laws did not come with the clause that they were for a particular era of time. Quaran and quranic laws will remain same and unchanged for all times to come.
