Bronzer

Girls, what is the trick to applying bronzer so that it gives you a nice sun-kissed look without making you look all fake and orange-y??

I bought a cheap jane cosmetics bronzer just to see if it looks good on me before getting the good one… but I find it much trickier to use than blush… plus I think I got the wrong shade for my skin color :bummer:

lol, the main trick is getting a good one that doesn’t look orange.
MAC has plenty of different colours of bronzers so you can find one to suit you.
Otherwise Guerlain do a really good one.

Re: Bronzer

why do u wanaa apply it??or u like brownish or blakish luk,,,well bronzers luk fine wen apllied only by professional's hand bcuz thy make 1st the solid n correct base of face n contouring.its really tricky thing.

The trick to applying a bronzer is to make sure u're skin is moisturized well so the bronzer doesn't appear streaky.. otherwise anyone can apply a bronzer to the cheekbones, temples!

Re: Bronzer

u need those HUGE brushes, dab it in the bronzer...brush some off and whisp it all over your face.

hahaha whisp
what hte helll

No not all over u're face just on the temples and cheekbones to achieve the sunkissed glow all over the face will make u look orangey and odd.

Re: Bronzer

I've never been able to put on bronzer and make it look good so I usually just stick to blue. =\ But is cream bronzer better or powder?

I like the powder bronzers better, I feel I have more control. Cream ones are good but provided u're perfect at blending.

Re: Bronzer

how about Maybelline Dream mousse bronzer?? i'm thinking to try one!

Re: Bronzer

ooh you should try getting a powdered bronzer
because you can just dab a bit on
and it looks flawless and shiny

Re: Bronzer

Powdered bronzer n a massive brush does wonders :woho:

and if u want it not to look too orangey dnt apply so much, or find a shade lighter than the one u bought :phati:

I bought tht agez ago but havent tried it as yet :bummer: its kinda thick, im scared to try it, what if it cumz out all lumpy, oh n also dunno wat to use to apply it on with

Try the bronzing pearls..Body Shop has nice ones.. you apply them with a contoured-top brush to the apples of u're cheeks, temples and just under u're chin.

body shop has very nice ones

as a huge fan of bronzer, ill tell u my way...the right bronzer should make u look very glowy and alive so...

choose a colour that has a bit of pink or peach undertones, perfectly orange is kinda hard to deal with..lol

take a nive bif fluffy brush and swirl it around in the pot, then tap of the excess. Next smile and put it on

-the apples of ur cheeks out towards ur hairline
-chin
-forhead-lightly
-nose

wherever the sun hits

Re: Bronzer

riya try using bronzer with extra large brush and apply i tto the places where sun naturally tans ur face and body like ur forehead, cheeks(apples of cheeks plz), chin and shoulders and collarbone

just sweep the brush over the powder and tap the excess off always and then apply in quick big motions and u will be fine trust me :D
