Hearts that YOU have broken because they proposed you, had crush on you or something similar.
I had a deja vu while i was watching a drama. I am ruthless, i have broken counting on fingers 6 hearts. 
And i am not proud of it. I could have been gentle.
LOL.
Just rejecting someone in not breaking his/her heart.

Saying "no" to someone who has a crush on you is breaking hearts?..lol, I did not know that. I said no to people who had a crush/liked etc. but I never even talked to them much/or knew them. Ugh, great - another burden on my lil conscience!

Not necessarily. There need not be a commitment. Unrequited love or unreciprocated feelings can break your heart.

Thankfully none. I would not want it on my head or during the day of judgment that I caused someone that deep level of pain.
I commit enough sins already to have that come and bite me in the ass.

JP in your case they were lucky people . Un ke koi naiki kaam aa gayee . So don’t feel bad about it 
and yea in these matters one shouldn’t use heart , always use brain . It has skull on it to protect , hence less chances of a break :k:

I used to believe no one can mend a broken heart... until i realized real hearts dont break.
Hearts are not made of glass they are the engine to the body.

I would think broken heart results from 'giving someone false hopes', lying, cheating etc..I mean, if you approached someone and they hardly know you and say no to you, how is that hurtful?
