Re: British Soldier Beheaded in London in busy street
I am sure that the Imam does not approve of drones or killings of muslims in Iraq etc. but perhaps it was not the right time to talk about these things. otherwise it could be seen by some as justifying the heinous murder. Let’s not find negativity in everything. He spoke the commonsense truth.
It is not right to link one crime with another crime. Besides I think there is a difference between this senseless gruesome atrocity (deliberate knifing of an unarmed soldier) and people getting killed by drone strikes, however sad and cruel.
The oppressive Arab societies and Afghanistan partly brought it upon themselves by shielding terrorists like OBL. Look at what’s going on in Syria? Is it also West’s fault? It seems that anarchy & violence comes naturally to some muslims
Perhaps it is a point to ponder why the West does not interfere in the affairs of stable tolerant muslim societies like Turkey and Malaysia etc.
