Many, if not all, of these "extremists" are native born (the report said they had london accents) who have heard the political vitrol of what West has done to muslims but haven't actually experience how the muslim rulers and society treat its people compared to the west. They probably think that one hurt feeling is horrible when they haven't lived in saddam's iraq or Assad's Syria ever...
