**Im a Brit Pakistani - Punjabi it is!!!… with a cool Kashmiri/ Mughal lineage.. pretty cool living in the Uk as its the only place I know…I know UK has taken a nose dive in the last 5 years but hey , I guess every country goes through some economical down turn so that affects its country socially and geographically … yeah Bradistan was vividly represented in East is East so typical of the 70’s!!!.. **

i am a british punjabi and the first ting people immediatly think is that this guys a mirpuri.

ut when you actually speak punjabi as in use owrd such as "kenda" and "menu" as opposed to the mirpuri dialect of "aakhya see" "mikki" "marri" "twaari" it comes as a bit of a shock.

biggup to uk punjabis. dont lose your dialect.

I was in a fried chicken shop and this Pakistani Punjabi was talking to the owner, he was speaking sai punjabi and I could barely make out a few words, my family's originally from the Mirpur district
