with reference to the original post, posted on Nove 15th by Sana 11, I would like to mention few points. It came to my knowledge by some very deniable sources that British asians and desi’s are not two different species. The hindi-olical term “DESI” is drived from the Hindi word “DES” meaning country. so it is very clear that any1 who belongs to or have roots in sub-continent is reffered as DESI, British Asian in English. There is also one other specie, Specie 10247, which also dwells in same demographic region (and also in some other parts of the world). Commonly refered as “Freshie” or “FOB” across the pond. In my opinion the original poster i.e. Sana 11, avoided to use this term just because of political correctness.
