if you guys wanna experience 'pakistan in england' then it has 2 be northern england!
(thats manchester, bradford, oldham, leeds, sheffield)
we have the best restaurants, takeaways, clothes shops, asian sweet shops etc etc etc
heck its like bein back home here! ALL PAKIS NO SIKHS/HINDUS NEWER! (unlike places like bham and further south grrr!)

well i talk to my baji and she grew up in british and she had pure british accent but i did not have any problem to understand her. i enjoyed her accent but also i try talk to her in same way but i can’t

I hardly ever understand my British friends/cousins when we're talking over the phone, and vice versa. lol. The conversation usually goes like this:
me: So how you doing?
friend: Yeh really?
me: Umm, ya so what's up?
friend: You don't say..
and then later we're like we should prolly just stick to IMs and e mails for now. :P

Proper english is spoken by the British, just because some pakistanis cant understand it, it doesnt make it a bad accent.

Proper English can be spoken by Americans, Pakistanis, even Africans. It’s not just spoken by the British. Hence, the Americans have come up with new standards in grammer and spelling, apart from British English because…it’s a lot more conveniant. As opposed to the Brits that have been writing like that since like civilizations ago

we shouldnt make fun of the way anyone speaks or look down on anyone. in some ways I would say pakistani peoples English is even more advanced than ours. I mean sometimes they come up with words that even I dont understand! im serious…every single pakistani person I know who lives over there…they’ve mentioned many words which I dont even know the meaning off.

Some people speak very sophisticated words out there.
I think a lot of people dont like our accents because of the amount of slang we use, but every country has its own slang words and accents.
