Re: British Accent

koi baat nahin :)

Re: British Accent

yeah all southerners do their meat/veg and asian clothes shopping from here. and even their mitahis and everything. its the best place for everything hence why I love it here. we have the best desi clothes shops…best food (Ladypool Rd…a whole road full of great restaurants and take aways). we have a takeaway/restaurants/pizza place at every corner and sometimes even next door to each other :stuck_out_tongue:

we have the best mithai shops here…the best halal meat shops…the best everything… and of course the best people :jhanda:

Re: British Accent

Re: British Accent

really? what part u coming to ? and u coming on ur own? if ur a girl…I dont mind meeting up…but my exams finish in 3 weeks :konfused:

Re: British Accent

weve been going there since i can remember!

we always go to ladypool road and stratford road and alum rock road and eat at alum rock kebab house, and buy clothes at aziz textile!!

but i dunno which place sells the best casual readymade clothes

my sis and her hubby and my daughter!!!!

Re: British Accent

u should go to Ladypool Road or Coventry Road for clothes…they have some really nice shops…Alum Rock is only good for loose material…Aziz is ok…but my favourite is Adalats…they have lovely clothes…its on the other side of Alum Rock Road…

for food…I guess Alum Rock is ok too  but u have to know the right shops…some aint that good. but Ladypool Road and Stratford Road…or Mosely Road are more popular for their restaurants and food places

Re: British Accent

thanks 4 the info impulse! now i know who to ask if i have a query!!!

Re: British Accent

:stuck_out_tongue: ur welcome.
u can ask anytime

btw…u seen our new shopping centre ? its worth checking out  but its only fun going the first time…after that its boring :bummer:

Re: British Accent

i saw it about 10yrs ago and it woz ****ty!!! but i heard u canget sum good bargains now

impulse can u believe that we have 1 yes 1 asian shop here and no asian clothes shop here!!!!!!! (which probably explains the accent)!!!!!!

Re: British Accent

how can u see it 10 years ago…when it was only made last year ? :bummer: you travelled in time  ? wow
just kidding…nah this is a NEW bull ring…TOTALLY transformed

yeah I would hate to live in a place like yours…I mean here theres plenty of desis…and especially Alum Rock…its ALL desis…and i like it there…so whenever I get the chance…I tell my bro to go through Alum Rock Road…on the way home etc. :rotfl: cuz I feel at home there :smooth:

Re: British Accent

I swear there's more asian shops in Oxford. I remember there being a big arab population on the outskirts (near Brookes) with loads of halal grocers and take-aways.

but yeah... dont think they were any clothes shops.

Re: British Accent

i've never experienced any such problems even when speaking with amercian based ppl or any other national and vice versa.

Re: British Accent

yeah i hate the fact that we havnt got fast halal food here but its a good safe place to live

i saw the old version of bull ring!!! it was still called that then just really bad then

Re: British Accent

its totally changed. worth seeing.

hey u know Oxford…there seems to be nothing there apart from ur uni and a few nice houses :rotfl:

I mean like Manchester has a really good shopping centre…brummies have EVERYTHING..London has some good tourist places .etc…wot does oxford have?
