Britain In the Eyes Of Pakistanies

Re: Britain In the Eyes Of Pakistanies

wow I never thought my post would generate a big discussion!

I was really referring to people from Pakistan who were born and grew up there all there life especially in the pinds.

I think Pakistan has some wonderful places Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and Murray up north. The pinds are a place of fun at times. The smell really gets to me when your out of your house smelling those chickens and cow dung!

The things I don't like about the pinds is the gang style culture. You don't get any privacy. I got married in a Pind and even at 5am me and my wife on our first few nights were getting spied on quite amusing but serious invasion of privacy. I think if that were to happen in Britain who could sue and press for charges.

The girls from the pind are really respectful, hard working, religious and good looking that's why I married one! well she's a half a Lahori girl!

The thing is when I was in Pakistan people kept asking me especially my wifes relatives when your going to send me to Britain and they always, kept asking what is Britain like etc etc. I tried to educate them that Britain isnt the only other place on the face of the planet! That there are other countries like Australia, USA, Japan, Dubai which some people consider better than Britain, but they fail to understand that and rely totally on Britain.

I think it's probably got to do with the links Pakistan has with Britain the services which doesn't have the same for other countries.
