I agree to the offwhite and gold. It will go well with what you and fiancé are wearing and will allow them to stand out without being a distraction.
As far as asking, I asked all of my girls one on one. They’re all close friends and that’s what felt right.
My parents paid for the mehendi outfits for the girls and the groomsmen, and also paid for the hair and makeup for the wedding. For the wedding, the girls paid for their own saris and the grooms for their own tuxes. I ran the price past each of them to make sure they were ok with it first. My parents also bought all the accessories- matching chooriyan and earrings for each girl for both days.
I’m gonna look at details for how much $$ the hair/makeup will cost but I may end up doing that. I know my mom got them matching outfits and chooriyan for the mehndi.
