Re: Bridesmaids
Well, I think you could try a regency dress. This color seems pleasing to the eye between red and black and it is not so morbid and dark.
what is that?

apparently Regency is a "line" that azazie carries in her new webstore
azazie......have you read our terms and conditions for membership on this site?
Re: Bridesmaids
I think the off-white color is probably what I'm going to go with. Sister is wearing a more dull gold with offwhite and brother is gonna wear an offwhite sherwani. That way the bridal party is somewhat similar.
If anyone has pictures of any nice off-white / gold bridesmaid clothes, pass them along please! I keep finding western outfits when I search. :S
thanks gals!
Re: Bridesmaids
I agree to the offwhite and gold. It will go well with what you and fiancé are wearing and will allow them to stand out without being a distraction.
As far as asking, I asked all of my girls one on one. They're all close friends and that's what felt right.
My parents paid for the mehendi outfits for the girls and the groomsmen, and also paid for the hair and makeup for the wedding. For the wedding, the girls paid for their own saris and the grooms for their own tuxes. I ran the price past each of them to make sure they were ok with it first. My parents also bought all the accessories- matching chooriyan and earrings for each girl for both days.

I'm gonna look at details for how much $$ the hair/makeup will cost but I may end up doing that. I know my mom got them matching outfits and chooriyan for the mehndi.

did you just take them out and ask them? over the phone?
Re: Bridesmaids
In person. Over the phone was not as exciting haha.
Re: Bridesmaids
So I'm toying with the idea of white saris to be specific. Does anyone know the price range for saris...with stitching and everything? Trying to give my bridesmaids an estimate so they can decide if it's within their budget. It'd be something with a little bit of kaam; not completely plain
