If she paid that lady in the store $500 to do her makeup, would you still be so disgusted? If she did her makeup there for free, but didnt film it, would you still be so disgusted? If she still filmed it but the video didnt find its way to youtube, would you still be so disgusted?
Honestly I think you are making WAY too big a deal out of this. There could be a hundred and one reasons why she did her makeup wherever she did it. Maybe she really liked that lady’s style and could only go there to get it done. Maybe that MUA was her best friend. Maybe she doesnt care about makeup and didnt want to shell out a couple of hundred bucks. Maybe this wasnt even her reception but just a photo+vid shoot so she didnt want to hire a MUA, I didnt see the entire footage but there didnt seem to be any scenes from a reception, just the couple in the park. Maybe she was filming a movie. Maybe it was for an anniversary party. Maybe she organized her wedding in two days and thats all she could come up with. Maybe she OWNS Macy’s. WHO CARES! And so what she decided to have it filmed so SHE could enjoy and cherish those memories, not so you could poke fun at her decision
I know of two girls who got their makeup done at a makeup counter. Both girls are in no way cheap and their weddings were elegant and tasteful affairs. In the case of the first, it was a small nikah reception, with a larger walima function a couple of months later, and she wanted a very simple look, so she didnt hire a MUA. For the second girl, although she had a very elaborate walima function, she also wanted a simple, fresh look without alot of heavy makeup, as she was the type who never wore any makeup at all, so she also got it done by a makeup counter. Both girls looked great and absolutely no one cared in the least where they got their makeup done, how much they paid, or whether they documented the evidence of their crime. Seriously, WHO CARES
