Those of you looking to order directly from pakistan, do check out AZMEH AHMED COUTURE.

They came highly recommended thus we ordered a bridal and a few trousseau outfits with them and everything was great, the client service, kaam/finishing and stitching as well as the constant pictorial updates we received during the ordering process

I am currently shopping for my bridal dresses and I have tried out a few stores here in the GTA:

1. Naz Fashion Bug

We went to the store by appointment. We saw her sister. This was in the basement of her current store in Milton. Oh dear, the congestion! Anyway, she has some nice piece but definitely highly inflated prices. I would instead go to an actual designer than paying her 4-5k for my dress. Also, she said she will give maximum of 3 appointments per bride. In each appointment I can try out 3 dresses. In the 3d appointment, I have to decide. Excuse me? Am I at “Say Yes to the Dress” LOL . Bottom Line - Expensive and not worth it.

2. Saira Sheikh
Her boutique is gorg! She has a good variety. The only thingI didn’t understand was that she informed me at the appointment that she doesn’tlet the brides try on dresses. You can go elsewhere and try on the styles youwant and then go to her and tell her exactly what you want.

I didn’t feel comfortable doing the extra work and decidednot to go with her.

3. Oriental Costumes

Unreasonable expensive because they don’thave any variety.

Now, of course if you are on a time constraint and you wantan off the shelf item then they you can try many places. I would also suggestgoing to Kohinoor Fashions for rush custom orders.

I am still looking for my bridal dress so if anyone else hasgood suggestions, please share!
