Most of my clothes were made by Barkha (by Shahina Zubairi) in Defense. Give her a try. Also, just walk around the major shopping areas, and you’ll find stuff.

I need to buy a dress for my nikkah in Karachi and I don't know who to go with! I'm looking to spend about 1 lakh and it needs to be nice but also not overdone, since the nikkah is at home and we're having a large reception a few days later, which is where I'll be really dressed up. I'm specifically looking for a dress in the red color scheme (so red, red-orange, maroon or berry).
Do you guys think I could get a nice Karma dress at this price?? Any other designers you would recommend for a red dress?
U can get a Karma outfit in 1 lakh.. it'll be a heavy formal outfit. An anarkali/churidaar...

I believe someone mentioned that Nomi Ansari's new design (navy blue and pale pink) is around one lakh. It's a long shirt with simple skirt and dupatta with heavy sequin spray. Also, there is a really pretty Kamiar Rokhni outfit for around 110,000. It's got a chatapatti gharara/lehnga and a burnt-red long shirt with a lot of work. The dupatta is also pretty, has nice border...I can' post the link but the photo is on his FB group. (Page1, last row, #3)

youre right, naqsa, thanks i totally forgot about that nomi ansari piece! Its gorgeous, I think someone even posted a real bride wearing it. I wonder if Nomi will change the color if you ask? Someone told me that some designers, like Sana Safinaz for example, only offer designs only in the particular color combination that they’ve designated. So if you like a gorgeous blue outfit but you want it in red, they’ll say ‘no can do!’
S&S are difficult :S I'd go with Kamiar or Nomi Ansari.. and get a gorgeous front-open long flowy kameez.. they look really pretty.
Plenty of them in the home-based designers..even pakifairy's designer makes them! :)
